National Christian Conference on Ethics (15.03.2010)
In February, CAMED hosted a national conference for Christians in Moldova on “Christian Ethics in the Context of Expanding the Kingdom of God.” It was attended by over 350 Moldovans from around the country, making it one of the largest Christian gatherings in Moldova to date. The event was originally anticipating only about 150 participants, but the interest was so overwhelming that we had to change venues and design of the entire conference to accommodate the demand.
The conference was an all-day event, from morning until late afternoon on Saturday, February 20th. The event began with speeches from Moldovan leaders, such as Ghenadie Russu (Executive Director of CAMED), a member of Moldovan Parliament, a bishop in the Moldovan Baptist Union, and a Moldovan economist and deputy in the Parliament, and was followed by longer discourses from three American guest speakers who came to share their hearts and their wisdom with the Moldovan people.
